Sears Canada gave Hanson + Jung the task of providing a prototype design for a typical 40,000 sq. ft. freestanding furniture and appliance store which made reference to the established Sears retail brand but would offer the Home stores their own unique identity. We then were asked to implement this design concept in various locations in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. We also worked with Sears to renovate the exterior of 46 existing Home stores across Canada to reflect this new prototype.
